day 002

a light day. you gotta ease into some things.

today i purchased a metal bin. one that i will use to prop a men's outfit in and shoot directly over head. hopefully i will be able to complete this by the weekend. this will be another piece for my commercial product portfolio.

all i need next is clothing for the shot. and a piece of white plex would be nice, but probably too expensive.

oh, and i also set up this blog. that was creative, i did make the header.

day 001

first off, the actual kick-off day was 09.29.08.

i started off simple. i shots a pair of shoes that was part of a larger shoot i worked on over the 09.27.08 weekend.

so today the creation is a picture of a pair of boots for my commercial product portfolio

what this is about

i always want to create. i always have an idea. i, also, always have an excuse. it is easier to think of reasons why you should not take on a project, rather than attempting a project.

so this is my swift kick to the ass. i will not allow myself to make excuses as to why i should not create.

for the next 365 days, i will create or work towards a creation every day. my creations can be of any medium or format. they can be for commercial or simple artistic gain/expression. if i do not create a new piece on any given day, i must make a step forward for the completion of a larger piece or concept.
